Essay feedback

The ISEE essay and the SSAT writing sample aren't scored, but schools read them. Write one in the real time limit and get feedback on organization, detail, language and mechanics.

A report for parents

Every finished test and set goes into the parent report: score estimates over time, the weakest topics and a week-by-week plan up to the test date.

Questions

Who is this for?
Parents of students taking the ISEE (Lower, Middle or Upper Level), the SSAT (Middle or Upper Level) or New York City's SHSAT. The parent holds the account; the student practices on it.
Are these official tests?
No. We write every question ourselves in the format of each test, with the real section timings. Math questions are made by programs that work out and check every answer.
How accurate is the score estimate?
It is rough. The test makers don't publish the tables that turn answers into stanines, percentiles or SHSAT scores, so we estimate from the share of questions right. It is good for seeing progress, not for predicting an exact score.
What is free?
The first practice set of every section and topic, with answers and worked solutions, and the essay prompts. The family pass opens every full timed test, unlimited math practice, essay feedback and the parent report.
